The National Council for Senior Citizens
The National Council for Senior Citizens is an advisory body for public authorities and national institutions. It is appointed by the Government and consists of 15 members.
The council focuses on issues concerning living conditions of senior citizens and their opportunities to take part in working life and society at large. In this context senior citizens refers to people who are over 50 years old.
The present Council was appointed in 2010 and will serve until 2013. The Council consists of the following 15 members:
